Excellent analysis. Reid was also helped by Latino voters (they may have been the deciding factor). Of course, they tend to be urban voters as well, so that dovetails with your take on it. But let's face it, if Obama can't win Pennsylvania in 2012 then he's toast.

Yes, Reid couldn't have won without the Latino vote. You're right about Pennsylvania, but I don't think Obama is panicking about that right now. Sestak lost by only 2 points, and the increased turnout of a presidential year will probably give Obama enough additional votes in Philly to prevail. Provided he's competitive nationally, of course.
