NEBRASKA is about as reliable as you can get in presidential elections. The only suspense is whether the Republican will win handily or by a bone-crushing margin. From 2004 to 2008, the Republican margin fell from 258,486 to 119,660 while voter turnout stayed about the same. But that's still a comfortable cushion, and no one expects another swing toward the Democrats in 2012.
