The average computer user spends about 13 minutes per day waiting for their technology to catch up to them, which equates to up to three days a year just waiting, according to Intel.
There is a name for this phenomenon: Hourglass Syndrome, named after the "please, just wait a goddamned minute" icon on the Windows operating system. Mac users are more familiar with the Spinning Wheel of Death:
